M.O.C.H.A. is a grassroots community resource to promote holistic alternatives to mothers in minority communities.
M.O.C.H.A. recognizes the need for all communities to have affordable and open access to healthy food sources and environmental organizations.
M.O.C.H.A. will address issues of holistic living by facilitating forums to bridge educational institutions, civic organizations, religious and voluntary institutions and associations with the larger communities they serve.
M.O.C.H.A. will encourage local businesses and retailers to promote services and products that emphasize the benefits of natural living to communities represented by our membership.
M.O.C.H.A. promotes activities that encourage cross-cultural conversations so members will have a better understanding and acceptance of cultural diversity.
M.O.C.H.A. will promote lecture series and participate in fairs and expos that support natural/sustainable living alternatives.
M.O.C.H.A. will provide free workshops to educate the communities to the importance of living naturally, and being more environmentally conscious in our daily actions and choices (e.g. eating organically vs. processed foods, use eco-friendly cleaners vs. harsh chemicals).
M.O.C.H.A. recognizes the range in alternative family structures of its members and will support those who choose to pursue holistic lifestyles within these family dynamics.
