M.O.C.H.A. is about creating an organization that speaks to the needs and concerns of women of color.

M.O.C.H.A. does not preclude coalition building; it encourages it.  However, we insist that women of color define and determine problems, needs, strategies, and solutions for the organization.

One of the many goals for M.O.C.H.A. is to educate and empower minority women living in traditionally "at risk" communities for they are often the ones making the decisions about healthcare, food, and life choices for their households.

M.OC.H.A. is about making the holistic lifestyle not just a privilege enjoyed by few but a benefit enjoyed by  all!

Through quarterly meetings, educational forums and workshops, and community networking initiatives and activities, M.O.C.H.A. seeks to help strengthen the bonds between mothers and their children, bringing families and communities together and into contact with support structures, resources, and opportunities committed to truly advancing and making accessible to everyone eco-friendly, holistic lifestyles.
